Although most of the important techniues orignated in Italy, some of the processes are Mexican, Swedish, British, and Australian. Glassblwoing technique has become so international that I (James McKelvey) have successfully worked in hot shops around the world without so much as knowing how to say the world "hot" I do not claim that these techniques are the best, but simply the best I have been able to find in 20 years of styding and teaching. Once you learn the basics of this course, you will develop your own style and will hopffly add something to the community of knowledge.
