We've really enjoyed working with Cristalica. It's easy on the furnace with a lower melting temperature, requires less time on the squeeze and has a shorter reheat time when making product. It's been great for every project I've done including blowing, sculpting and casting.
One word of caution: when we recycle the clear from our production back into the furnace, we've noticed a higher level of cords and boogers in the glass than we were used to with the 96. We still do it when we know we're making opaque pieces but not when clean, clear glass is a must in the product.
